"All About The Eyes"

MiCROBLADING & SHADING Eyebrows

What is Microblading?

Microblading is the process of implanting pigment into the upper most layers of the skin using a small hand-held tool (not a machine) mimicking strokes of eyebrow hairs. This procedure is not painful, we apply a topical anesthetic to the skin and re-apply during the process.

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo that lasts 6 months to 3 years depending on skin type, skin regimen and sun exposure.  We suggest clients get touch-ups annually to maintain shape and color.

Microshading aka Powder, Ombre

Microshading is a great way to blend the natural hair and the microbladed strokes. Many clients are used to applying solid brows with pencil or powder, microshading adds depth and definition to the eyebrows eyebrows a more natural, softer look.

Microshading also has longer staying results and is a great option for oily skin, mature skin, and scars.

Combining this process with Microblading gives your eyebrows a more natural, softer look.  Typically one touch-up is required, done 4-8 weeks later.

Henna Brow Tint

Henna brows are a non-permanent, non-invasive service that tints the eyebrow hair for 6-8 weeks but also stains the skin beneath the brows  10-14 days. This stain beneath the brows provides clients with a bolder, fuller eyebrow appearance similar to microblading but in a pain-free, non-permanent service

Is Henna different from tint or dye?

Henna has been around for thousands of years and has been used for hair dye, body art, and makeup.  A lot of people associate henna with the colour red, but henna brows are specially formulated to give a more cool colour tone that is absolutely perfect for eyebrows.

Temporary Tint before Semi-Permanent Make-up:

It's a fantastic way to try out a shape before committing to semi-permanent makeup, or if you just want your eyebrows shaped and filled temporarily.

Does Microblading color brow hair?

If a you have microblading done then it is  likely that you will still need to get your brow hair tinted, especially if you have grey hair or need to color match your microblading.

Brow Lamination

Brow lamination involves the “perming” of your eyebrow hairs to provide a fuller, more even look. ... Next, your brow hairs are brushed upward to help pull them in a uniform vertical direction.

How Long Does it Last?

Brow lamination lasts from four to six weeks. Depending on how well you look after your brows, it can last up to eight weeks.

Brow Lamination and Tint at the same time?

Yes, this process will take about 60 minutes.

Aftercare:

It's easy to care for your brows following a lamination treatment. For the first 48 hours, you should treat your brows with care, avoiding getting them wet, steam baths and saunas. After this time, you can treat them normal, simply brushing into place every morning with a spoolie.
