When it comes to make-up, usually people first think about the eyes.

The eyes are generally the most expressive part of the face. Let's take a look at why...You have the eyebrows, eyelids, eyelashes. The most amount of small features across your face that are all part of the eyes. Your eyebrows frame your face, next to your hair style. There is so much expression connected with your eyebrows, the shape, color, amount of brow hair, how they move when you move your forehead, your eyes opening wide when you're surprised, the color, length and texture of your eyelashes. After the mandated facial masks during the pandemic, we've had to re-shift our focus on peoples expression and communication by looking at their eyes. For those people who wear make-up it's been a game changer. Going from a full face of make-up to just wearing eye make-up and focusing on the most important and telling feature of their expressive eyebrows. I love working on eyebrows because it's the one feature that is a real game changer in people overall appearance. The more full, groomed and shaped they are says a lot about a person without even saying a word. Being a Make-up Artist for yfilm and TV for so many years, and having my artistic skills constantly being stretched is really fun for me. I love learning new things, challenging myself, being around other creative artists working as a team keeps me going. So when I discovered microblading eyebrows, I thought what a fun skill to have and how many people I could help look and feel their best about such an important facial feature.
