This is my station inside the Make-up Trailer on Grey's Anatomy, ready to put my hurt on some actors. The fun thing about working on this Medical Drama is that we get to do a wide range of make-up and make-up effects, always expect the unexpected. It's great to be creatively challenged every day.
We use a variety of fake blood for fresh injuries to older injuries, when our medical advisor on the show calls for more blood on-set with our actors we follow her lead. In the make-up trailer we create the injury and then when the actor arrives on-set we adjust accordingly to the director and medical advisor to make it look as real as possible. It's a lot of eyes on our work.
