Microblading & Shading Eyebrows
Eyebrows change with age…
Microblading is semi-permanent that is customized for every subject.
Ombre brows or micro shading: micropigmentation is used to create fine dots that give the appearance of powdered eyebrows and not hair strokes. This technique lasts longer compared to microblading (hair strokes).
What The Ink?
Superficial micropigmentation: pigment is deposited in the dermis with a manual devices lasting 12-18 months Cosmetic pigments are meant to fade over time and are not permanent like a regular tattoo ink.
Most common cosmetic pigments are classified as either iron oxide or synthetic.
Color changes with sun exposure. All inks react and change color with repeated sun exposure.
Iron oxide based inks usually turn reddish over time while synthetic inks can turn bluish/grey over time.
Yellow fades the quickest in both iron oxide and synthetic.
Red is more stable and lasts longer in the iron oxide.
Black lasts longer in the synthetic.
Red adds warmth and lasts longer in iron oxides.
Black lasts the longest in synthetic.
We use pigments that are:
Hypo-allergenic
Cruelty free
Non-toxic
Made in the USA
Instrumentation:
Pre-fitted microblading pen (single-use and disposable flexible needles are more forgiving to the skin.

Saline Tattoo Lightening & Removal
Removal of pigments:
Salt / Saline removal works on the theory of “osmosis”
Osmosis is a process by which molecules of a solvent (water) tend to pass through a semi-permeable membrane (skin) from a less concentrated solution not a more concentrated one.
Saline achieves the same amount of concentration on each side of the membrane….called equalization
The introduction of a highly concentrated saline solution to the dermis where the pigment is located, creates the process of osmosis.
Water in the cells beneath the pigment contain lower amounts of salt and water will rise to the area containing the higher concentration of salt.
Equalization forces the pigment from the dermal layer up to the epidermis by osmotic pressure.
This is a natural process to become equal to the higher concentration of salt and water.
The pigment becomes trapped in the scab and when the scab falls off some of the pigment goes with it.
The saline solution is made in a state regulated, licensed and highly credentialed cosmetic manufacturing lab under the most sterile conditions.
It is a non-acid, high salt based fruit seed extract removal product.
Sea salt is ground into a fine powder. Lemon and orange seed extracts are added for their fading properties along with aloe vera to aid in skin conditioning.
The solution is safe for use around all permanent make-up procedures and body tattoos.
Shading / Tapping hand tool method. Disposable, flexible hand tool which is.gentle on the skin with faster healing times and better healed results.

Eyelash Enhancement
An eyelash enhancement procedure refers to pigment being implanted between, and tightly close to, the eyelashes. The color is confined to the lash area.
Top and Bottom?
Lash enhancements are by far the most popular procedure for lower liner, but they are also extremely popular for upper liner.
The lash enhancement is great for almost everyone. In particular you may find that this procedure is perfect for:
-
People who typically don’t wear a lot of makeup
-
Those who don’t want anyone to know they had their eyeliner done.
-
Clients who want a “natural” look.
-
Those with sparse lashes and want the appearance of fuller lashes.
-
Alopecia clients (hair loss)
-
Those with trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder)
How Often Should it be Touched Up?
-
Initial touch-up: 4-6 weeks post procedure
-
Recurring touch-up: Every 1-2 years
Before and Aftercare:
Luckily eyeliner procedures aren't as affected by serum/moisturizer/toner/facial/etc regimes as eyebrow procedures are; however, any product that comes in contact with the procedure - especially on a regular basis - can cause it to fade faster.
* Avoid Lash Growth Serums
In particular can wreak havoc on a lash enhancement, not only can it cause issues with the procedure lasting a year, but it can also cause retention issues resulting in even more touch-ups.
Lash growth serums may cause excessive bleeding during the procedure. These serums often increase circulation to the eyelids, causing thin skin, easy bleeding, and excess bleeding. This often results in poor pigment retention, and sometimes the procedure cannot be completed due to excessive bleeding. Best case scenario, is to stop using any serums for at least 1 month prior to the eyelash enhancement procedure, and for at least 1 month after the procedure. If you’re a long-time user of lash growth serums then you may need to stop using them for up to 6 months before your procedure.
