We use two FDA approved topical over-the-Counter (OTC) anesthetics that are commonly used for tattoos and permanent makeup.

Eyebrows:

Microblading tattoos the skin, and the Henna Brow Tint helps to blend the hair color with the pigment and also overs grey hair nicely.

  • Those with sparse lashes and want the appearance of fuller lashes.

  • Alopecia clients (hair loss)

  • Those with trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder)

We blend colors to match the client's skin tone,  camouflage scars and neutralize hypopigmentation.

*Non-Permanent Services:

Brow lamination & Henna Brow Tint

Brow Lamination is great for taming and filling in gaps, giving a fuller look. The eyebrows frame the face.  We offer this service as part of our well-rounded approach to your Microblading & Microshading procedure, especially if your natural eyebrow growth pattern grows down towards your nose, we would gently re-direct them going up and blending in with your microblading.

Henna Brow Tint:

We use a plant based henna that tints the eyebrow hair and also easily covers grey hairs and lasts 6-8 weeks.  We like to offer this service to blend your natural brow hair to your microbladed eyebrows color, often times clients may have lighter or grey brow hairs that they might need to cover, this service nourishes and strengthens brow hair naturally.

Lash Lift and Tint

Eyelash lift is a semi-permanent process that gently lifts your lashes, giving them a more vibrant, refreshed and “awake” look.

The beauty of a lash lift is that it lasts for up to eight weeks. This means that, for two months, you can wave goodbye to lash curling tools and even mascara because your lashes will look longer and fuller EVERY day. No maintenance other than giving your lashes a quick brush daily with a clean lash wand.

Lash Tint

Our lash tint is PPD-free and approved by Canada Health Department.

Products do not contain any sodium bromate or PPD.

Health Canada’s Guideline for Thioglycolic in eyelash curling products is less than 11%, the products we use is only 9%.

Keratin Lash & Brow Treatment

This treatment can be done at the same time as your Lash Lift & Tint and Henna Brow & Lamination services,  this treatment will instantly smooth out, revive and condition your lashes and brows.  It's a great part of the aftercare.

Microblading & Shading Eyebrows

Eyebrows change with age…

Microblading is semi-permanent that is customized for every subject.

Ombre brows or micro shading:  micropigmentation is used to create fine dots that give the appearance of powdered eyebrows and not hair strokes.  This technique lasts longer compared to microblading (hair strokes).

What The Ink?

Superficial micropigmentation:  pigment is deposited in the dermis with a manual devices lasting 12-18 months  Cosmetic pigments are meant to fade over time and are not permanent like a regular tattoo ink.

Most common cosmetic pigments are classified as either iron oxide or synthetic.

Color changes with sun exposure.  All inks react and change color with repeated sun exposure.

Iron oxide based inks usually turn reddish over time while synthetic inks can turn bluish/grey over time.

Yellow fades the quickest in both iron oxide and synthetic.

Red is more stable and lasts longer in the iron oxide.

Black lasts longer in the synthetic.

Red adds warmth and lasts longer in iron oxides.

Black lasts the longest in synthetic.

We use pigments that are:

Hypo-allergenic

Cruelty free

Non-toxic

Made in the USA

Instrumentation:

Pre-fitted microblading pen (single-use and disposable flexible needles are more forgiving to the skin.

Saline Tattoo Lightening & Removal

Removal of pigments:

Salt / Saline removal works on the theory of “osmosis”

Osmosis is a process by which molecules of a solvent (water) tend to pass through a semi-permeable membrane (skin) from a less concentrated solution not a more concentrated one.

Saline achieves the same amount of concentration on each side of the membrane….called equalization

The introduction of a highly concentrated saline solution to the dermis where the pigment is located, creates the process of osmosis.

Water in the cells beneath the pigment contain lower amounts of salt and water will rise to the area containing the higher concentration of salt.

Equalization forces the pigment from the dermal layer up to the epidermis by osmotic pressure.

This is a natural process to become equal to the higher concentration of salt and water.

The pigment becomes trapped in the scab and when the scab falls off some of the pigment goes with it.

The saline solution is made in a state regulated, licensed and highly credentialed cosmetic manufacturing lab under the most sterile conditions.

It is a non-acid, high salt based fruit seed extract removal product.

Sea salt is ground into a fine powder.  Lemon and orange seed extracts are added for their fading properties along with aloe vera to aid in skin conditioning.

The solution is safe for use around all permanent make-up procedures and body tattoos.

Shading / Tapping hand tool method.  Disposable, flexible hand tool which is.gentle on the skin with faster healing times and better healed results.

Eyelash Enhancement

An eyelash enhancement procedure refers to pigment being implanted between, and tightly close to, the eyelashes. The color is confined to the lash area.

Top and Bottom?

Lash enhancements are by far the most popular procedure for lower liner, but they are also extremely popular for upper liner.

The lash enhancement is great for almost everyone. In particular you may find that this procedure is perfect for:

  • People who typically don’t wear a lot of makeup

  • Those who don’t want anyone to know they had their eyeliner done.

  • Clients who want a “natural” look.

  • Those with sparse lashes and want the appearance of fuller lashes.

  • Alopecia clients (hair loss)

  • Those with trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder)

How Often Should it be Touched Up?

  • Initial touch-up: 4-6 weeks post procedure

  • Recurring touch-up: Every 1-2 years

Before and Aftercare:

Luckily eyeliner procedures aren't as affected by serum/moisturizer/toner/facial/etc regimes as eyebrow procedures are; however, any product that comes in contact with the procedure - especially on a regular basis - can cause it to fade faster.

* Avoid Lash Growth Serums

In particular can wreak havoc on a lash enhancement, not only can it cause issues with the procedure lasting a year, but it can also cause retention issues resulting in even more touch-ups.

Lash growth serums may cause excessive bleeding during the procedure. These serums often increase circulation to the eyelids, causing thin skin, easy bleeding, and excess bleeding. This often results in poor pigment retention, and sometimes the procedure cannot be completed due to excessive bleeding. Best case scenario, is to stop using any serums for at least 1 month prior to the eyelash enhancement procedure, and for at least 1 month after the procedure. If you’re a long-time user of lash growth serums then you may need to stop using them for up to 6 months before your procedure.

Brow lamination

Involves the “perming” of your eyebrow hairs to provide a fuller, more even look. Your brow hairs are brushed upward to help pull them in a uniform vertical direction.

How Long Does it Last?

Brow lamination lasts from four to six weeks. Depending on how well you look after your brows, it can last up to eight weeks.

Brow Lamination and Tint at the same time?

Yes! This can be done at the same time.

*Allergic to aspirin or fava bean?  Then henna is not right for you.

We also offer a Keratin Mask  treatment to help keep your eyebrows that enhances the hairs resilience and strength and revives and conditions the brows.

Aftercare:

It's easy to care for your brows following a lamination treatment and henna Tint: For the first 48 hours, you should treat your brows with care, avoiding getting them wet, steam baths and saunas. After this time, you can treat them normal, simply brushing into place every morning with a spoolie.

Following the Henna Brow Tint:  Avoid swimming, saunas, hot baths or showers for 24 hrs after application.

Avoid oil based products such as foundations and cleansers.

Avoid rubbing, touching and exfoliating the area as it will increase the fading process.

Lash Lift & Tint

A lash lift curls your lash from base to tip so that you can see the full length.  All lashes have a natural shape to them, so this process alters that shape via a tiny curling rod and a lifting solution. (It’s not as scary as it sounds, as your eyes are closed as it’s applied but yes, there are some chemicals involved).  Expect the whole thing to take about 45-60 minutes. We may require a patch test 48 hours before your appointment to ensure you don’t have a reaction to the solutions used.

Lash Tint & Lift at the same time?

Yes, this can be done at the same time.

Can You Use a Lash Growth Serum with a Lash Lift?

A lash growth serum is ok, to use when you have gotten a lash lift.

We recommend you not use lash growth serum 24 hours before services and three days after your service.

What kind of Lash Tint?

PPD-free black tint made specially used for eyelashes.

How Long Does it Last?

The results typically last 6 to 8 weeks, depending on how quickly your eyelashes grow.

Our lash tint is PPD-free and approved by Canada Health Department.

Products do not contain any sodium bromate or PPD.

Health Canada’s Guideline for Thioglycolic in eyelash curling products is less than 11%, the products we use is only 9%.

*If your lashes are too curled, they can be relaxed by applying small amount of coconut oil (avoid if you are allergic to nuts) to your lashes.  Coconut oil can penetrate the gentle hair follicles in your eyelashes.  Or,  you could schedule an appointment to have a gentle solution applied to relax the curl.

**Pregnant or nursing women can have this service but the eyelash lift may not hold as long due to hormones affecting their lash growth cycle.

Not a candidate if:

  • Currently have eyelash extensions

  • Suffer from Blepharitis

  • Eye infections/diseases or skin disorders

  • Watery eyes

  • Chemo patients

  • History of previous reactions to any other service / treatments

  • Dry eye syndrome

  • Requires Dr.’s Note if:  post chemo, dry eye syndrome, glaucoma

Aftercare:

It is important to avoid mascara for 48 hours after the treatment and leave lashes untouched for a full 24 hours.  No contact with make-up or water for a full 24 hours to ensure the lift correctly sets into shape. For post treatment care, a lash oil ( you can use coconut oil; avoid if you are allergic to nuts) can be applied to keep your lashes nourished and conditioned.  We also offer a Keratin Lash & Brow Treatment; this nourishing mask fills the natural eyelashes and eyebrows with keratin making your natural lashes thicker, fuller and longer and will make them stronger and more resilient to damage.

Aftercare - 24hrs keep lashes dry, no steam, water or mascara.  Do not rub or sleep on lashes.

DO:  moisturize your lashes 1-2 times weekly with nourishing mascara (Perricone MD no-mascara) or coconut oil (avoid coconut oil if allergic to nuts)  Too much coconut oil will cause lashes to fall/relax.
